Basmati Rice




Ingredients;

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 cup sweet yellow onion (diced small)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 cup White California Basmati Rice

1 cup chicken broth

½ cup dry white wine



Method;

Place stockpot on stove top and turn heat on to medium/high. When the pot is hot place butter in and onion in pot and cook for about 5 minutes add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth/wine and rice to pot and place lid on pot and bring to a boil, stir once reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Do not remove lid, remove from heat and let sit covered for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
